In what way does your media project subvert or conform real media projects?

our media project conforms to the film noir because we was able to conform how love plays a big part within the genre. In my research, I saw the opening sequence for Sin City. The film begins with a man and woman hugging and the man then stabs the women. Identically, in our film later on, the female kills the man. We try to implement the same structure in our own film.

How does your media project represent social groups?

Final Version 

Here is the final version of our film. Overall I think our film was successful. As a group, we was able to collaborate all our ideas together to create the best film possible. We was able to employ a range of different camera angles and suitable costumes and props in order to match our film. I

Our film conforms the genre due to the fact that we was able to successfully carry out a film noir opening sequence. Our characters conformed to the genre because the female was seductive and enticed the male and the male was shown to be a typical charming film noir character using mise-en-scene in his favour in order to woo the women.

Here, i'm seen to be conforming to the stereotype of film noir as I am giving the female character a gift. As men in film noir films are show the be the dominant alpha male and always wants to make their girl happy.

Here is the penultimate scene before my character dies. The red lipstick on the Antagonist signifies danger. This conforms to a film noir as connotations are big signs as we are able to learn more about our character through mise-en-scene. Also females in noir films are always seen to be wearing red lipstick

Here our film links to sin city, As the love fades and the character slowly meets his fate as they're seen to be in love. This conforms to the idea of a film noir as the idea of love and death cross to provide negativity to the people involved. In this instances, my character dies and the antagonist would face the repercussions in court.

What  kind of institution will distribute your film and why?

I feel New Line Cinemas or Warner Brothers would distribute our film. Reason being is New Line Cinema merged with Warner Bros. in 2008 to produce major Neo-Noir films such as Dark Knight and Se7en. These two distribution companies are the leading companies in terms of Major films.

Who would be your audience for your media product?

I feel our film would be suitable for 15+ as nobody younger should be allowed to rent, watch or have access to the film due to the fact it could contain strong language and explicit content.
